It was a bad baseball game, and a blowout, so Pujols' performance is slightly diminished in most eyes.

man i was just trying to make him feel better about going. it woulda been worse for him if the cards won 6-3 and nothing special happened.


his performance wasnt diminished in any eyes tho. not Fox, not ESPN, not the MLB record books... 3 homers, 5 hits, a ton of total bases, rbis, and runs. 1275ft of homeruns. when you join babe ruth and mr october, performances are enhanced, not diminished.
