I can't stand bautista as a player, not defending him based on who he is. Both parties clearly weren't expecting a punch, I'd label that as a sucker punch or a cheap shot. Whatever you'd like to call it.

I just don't understand people trying to reason it because of a slide. Shove the guy, cuss him out, clear the benches sure. Create some exciting drama for the fans. Don't be THAT guy who throws a punch in that situation.
