Franco playing like dogshit, just terrible at bats. Almost didn't score in the 10th with a leadoff triple. Man on third? Better fucking bring in Darin Ruf who's batting like .150.

Velasquez looked dominant for 6 innings, but ran into one terrible one. Feels like this happens to him and Morgan a lot. But bullpen still getting shit done. looked like a disaster to start the season but everybody's decent at their job except oberholtzer.

Herrera reached base every at bat today with a leadoff triple to start the 10th. What a fuckin boss.

Pretty amazing how much better the bullpen has become, a huge reason why this team is 20-15 right now. That combined with good starters has been the core of this successful season thus far.

The lineup just needs help

Tommy Joseph promoted, fuck yes.

ESPN's Jayson Stark reports that the Phillies have called up Tommy Joseph from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

The move isn't official yet, but it isn't a surprise after Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com reported earlier this week that the Phils were mulling a promotion of Joseph. The former catcher prospect has moved to first base following concussion issues and has hit .347/.370/.611 with six homers for Lehigh Valley. He was leading the International League in batting average (.347) and OPS (.981). He was second in the league with a .611 slugging percentage.

Who did they let go on the 40 man roster? About time they made the move...honestly I would do away with Ruf. The guy never panned out and now is close to 30 years old while trying to learn how to play the outfield.

No, he'll be used for the lefties to start...

But you can best believe he'll be given the chance to be full time.
