Im happy with this move but I dont like the amount of money + years considering how old Martin is -- I thought he was like late 20s. Dude is almost 32.
I love Melky but I would say its stupid to give him too much. He is a defensive liability compared to Martin.
And for the most part, they are pretty similar hitters; in fact, they have identical career OPS.
