we need to get healthy, we have the roster to do damage in the playoffs

The only health issue our team suffered is in our offense, and our offense has been good despite that.
Our pitching is bottom 5 in the league, not sure when the last time a bottom 5 pitching team has ever done any damage in the playoffs.


So in what other sense are we "fine"?


End of this season; Janssen, Melky, Rasmus, Lawrie, Francisco
End of next season; Bautista, Buehrle, Navarro expires
End of the season after; Dickey, EE, Lind expires

About half of the players are under team options, but despite that Dickey will be 41, Joey 35, EE 33, Reyes 33, Lind 32
None of our core players are young, the only promising prospect that's putting major league work done are Stroman and Sanchez



How is this team gunna win in the next 2 years?

We're actually middle of the pack for starters and we can pick up a reliever through waivers deadline

We're closer to 20th in terms of starters so yeah, we're bottom feeding.
And if you think a single reliever would change the outcome of our season... lol
