While this is a shitass outing from just about any starter, especially CC, 6.2IP 4R used to be more than enough to win or at least keep the team in the game not so long ago. The thing we need more than anything down the stretch is for Cano, Grandy, and Alex to get really hot.

That may very well work during the regular season, especially as it did during the first half. However I don't really see them going too far in the PS. This team lives and dies with the HR, and those 3 guys don't do shit with risp. Just look last series vs boston. The team went 2 for 33 with Risp. Those 2 were Jeter alone. That has basically been the story this year. So really the only way they can hope to win is if they get lights out performances from the starters or the unlikely scenario that the opposing pitching sucks and gives them hrs
