Blue Jays telling teams in trade talks that they "can't take on any extra money.

When is the last time the Blue Jays made the playoffs? It wasn't during those back-to-back World Series wins was it? I was in the fifth grade watching the Phillies and Mitch "wild thing" Williams giving up that walk-off shot to Joe Carter. I legitimately don't know and I'm not going to Google it because it would ruin my guessing game. I hope they make it this year.

Jays only make the playoffs when they want to win it all, a la 1992 and 1993 seasons.

LOL. It was that long ago then. Wow. Their fan base deserves it then. Sort of like when the Pirates ended their long drought last October.

imo. canning arencibia was one of the worst blue jays choices ever. yes he had his bad stat. but theres not many good home run hitting catchers out there. he was a great catch specifically for the blue jays.

what. why. no.

Here's one thing:
Scott Carson @caRSoN_Stats
Since becoming a MLB Regular in 2011, JP Arencibia's .256 OBP ranks him 214th -- or last -- among qualifying hitters

Not to mention he's a below average defensive catcher. So yes, he will get you the odd HR but otherwise he will have many many more bad ABs and unproductive outs while providing little defensively.
