Gary Sanchez has been straight up ballz this year. Doesn't look like he will stick behind the plate either.

Gardner is hitting .333/.406/.504 since April 23rd which marked the end of his slow start.

That's quite the batting line there.

rolf, watch Gardner start batting over .300 hitting in the leadoff spot.
If that happens, what is dumbArdi gonna do? I wouldn't want to move him back down to the eighth spot wheres hes been batting.
But Girardi has no balls and has shown it up to this point, wonder how he will handle that.

I wish Gardner wasn't such a passive runner though, has the speed to steal 60 bases a year.
We need our hitting to be consistent every game now with our bullpen lacking some of our best relievers and us losing Phil and Colon.
