It's all about calorie reduction and pacing yourself. But when I watch sports I don't even pay attention to what I'm putting inside my body. Just have fun and enjoy yourself.

Thats the only way to do it B)

Bud Norris had some rust but did alright under the circumstances. Not much you can do when our bats don't put up any runs. The future superstars for the Astros are in the minor leagues right now: Jonathan Singleton at first base, Ariel Ovando in right field, George Springer in center field and Carlos Correa at shortstop.

Once these guys are all up on the big league roster with Jose Altuve taking charge at second base, we'll be stacked and loaded by 2014 or 2015. I hope Delino DeShields Jr. makes the smooth transition to third base as well because he has no future as our second baseman with Altuve looking like a future all-star for many years to come.

Jonathan Singleton in particular is going to become a .330, 40 HR a year type of hitter. He's special and will barely turn 21 years old in September. He'll make the team out of Spring Training this upcoming March. I expect him to be our opening day starter at first base in 2013 -- the first year in the American League West for Houston.

CHICAGO -- Astros second baseman Jose Altuve, who hasn't played since straining his right hamstring running to first base in last Sunday's game, will return to the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Cubs, manager Brad Mills said.

Altuve did more running on the field prior to Saturday's game and says he's ready to play. He was on deck to pinch-hit in the ninth inning when the game ended.

"I feel like maybe today or tomorrow I can get into a game and I feel ready to play," Altuve said prior the game. "I can't wait. I feel 100 percent. If it's not 100 percent, it's pretty close. They asked me how I felt and I said 'Good.' I'm going to run again and show them I can play."

Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow said the club wants to be convinced Altuve is at 100 percent before putting him back on the field.

"If there's any risk, we won't put him in there tomorrow," he said. "If he works out today and feels good, there's a chance tomorrow could be a special day for him."

Altuve could be chosen Sunday to play for the National League All-Star team.
