Joe Blanton's ERA went to 6.03 with 4 earned runs given up in 2.1 innings of relief in that game.

Sigh, Astros are starting Lucas Harrell tonight against Matt Garza and the Rangers. Easy loss now. We have Jarred Cosart pitching tomorrow night against an unnamed Rangers starter. Would have been a more exciting game, which I anticipated for a week, had it been Cosart versus Garza like originally planned. I'm about to see some of the game on CSN Houston.

It's already 13-1 Rangers in the top of the 4th. I can't even settle down for the night and enjoy this ballgame.
The Rangers scored 11 runs in the bottom of the 3rd. Lucas Harrell was tagged for 8 earned runs in 2.1 innings of work.

On the plus side, the Marlins lead 3-2 in the bottom of the 8th against the Dodgers. If that score holds up we'll be 8 games ahead for the first pick. We need that extra game cushion so we can win tomorrow night's game with Jarred Cosart on the mound. He should be 6-0 but I think tomorrow night he'll end his 5 straight no decisions and finally get to 2-0 with another amazing start. He may even lower his impressive 1.15 ERA. His 95 MPH cutter is starting to pick up a couple more strikeouts. It's been Mariano Rivera like. But he likes to get quick outs and ground balls (pitching to contact). Whatever works, the kid is the real deal.

6-2 Marlins in the bottom of the 8th now. They're putting the Dodgers away. Looks like our lucky night. Every day and night we're getting closer to winning the Carlos Rodon sweepstakes. That top three in our starting rotation of Mark Appel, Carlos Rodon and Jarred Cosart will soon be a reality. By 2015, maybe even by July of next season, we're going to have the best young starting rotation in baseball that will carry us for ten years or more.

Yea but to give up 11 runs in the 3rd lol, which i think i heard was the first time a team has scored double digit runs in 1 innings this season.

6/25/2010 10:47:00 AM Sent -3,000.00 (4,300.00 -> 1,300.00) to judson04 (21,000.00 -> 24,000.00) My Texas vs. Shugha's Astros (3:1)

I once lost a 3000 versus 1000 Forum Gold bet back in 2010, taking the Rangers over the Astros with 3:1 odds. The Rangers were -310 and the Astros were +280 on the official money line going into that game. LOL, it was supposed to be easy gucci for me but Prone cleaned me out on one of his multis - not Jarome but the Shugha account it was.

All I remember was thinking before the game, "I'm finally going to reach 5k for the first time ever."

And oops! I overlooked my own team. LOL

That had to be one of my worst losses ever. This is why betting on baseball is so damn frustrating. I'm like 13-31 on bets this 2013 season. My last bet, a 2-1 Tigers loss to the Royals at home, was also supposed to be a lock with Justin Verlander God on the mound.

It's only 16-5 Rangers going into the top of the 8th. I was worried they were going to roll up 30 runs on us tonight.

Like they did against the Orioles back in 2007.
