Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that the Mariners offered one of Danny Hultzen, James Paxton or Taijuan Walker, plus Nick Franklin, Charlie Furbush and Stephen Pryor to the Diamondbacks for Justin Upton.
It would have been quite a haul for the D'Backs, but it's a moot point unless Upton changes his mind and winds up accepting a deal to the Mariners. While the M's are one of four teams on Upton's no-trade list, it's possible a deal could be revived. The Rangers and Braves are also in the mix.

Wow, that's a lot.

Do you guys think King Felix will stay with the Mariners his entire career even if they don't make the playoffs over the next couple of years?

I have no doubt Felix will be a Seattle lifer, it would be weird seeing him anywhere else

You also think Biggio wasn't an amazing player. I have little respect for your opinion anymore.

I see his career maybe ending up like Ichrio to be honest. He will say for a long time but if things never produce, I can see him towards the mid-late/end of his career deciding to go to a high profile team like the Yankees.

He wasnt Hall of Fame...only a couple seasons over .300 and never hit for power.

So Ichiro isn't going to be a hall of famer when he retires?

Because average and homeruns are the only things that matter in baseball. That's like saying Russel Wilson isn't a good football player because he has 0 receiving yards and 0 tackles.

Hey now...Ichiro had many seasons above .300...
