Well it depends on what the contract is like and such. It's a move I'm open for though because it trades an area we have a lot of for an area of need, while it being a lateral move.

Not entirely. We could offer a different contract/option years, I also meant resigning and things.

But if you think you could resign him why not just keep the prospects and wait till he hits free agency when you are ready to contend?

Do you guys think King Felix will stay with the Mariners his entire career even if they don't make the playoffs over the next couple of years?

as much as i don't wanna see the mariners make the playoffs, i hope he gets a chance at some point. lol He's a 20 game winner for alot of other teams. Hopefully he'll get some run support this year.
