How else are you going to improve?

We've been bottom feeders for the last 3~4 years with the same players, if "injuries" are the reason why we sucked then our players are injury prone and thats another negative that brings our team down

For the love of baseball? Regardless of how bad my team is I always love watching them play and will always root for them.

It's frustrating not being able to reach the playoffs but the fact that they took in all that payroll last year (even though it didn't work out) means that they are committed to winning

I also do love baseball and will root for the Jays but the most frustrating thing is that our GM is the only one openly being a jew about every little shitty detail.

Id understand if we are a small market team but we are nowhere close to being a small market team... theres so much fucking money in this organization and they just refuse to use it.
They say they want to wait it out until prices come back down but if 29 other teams in the league are actively driving the prices up and maintaining it, then we need to match it theres no way around that

Meh this years free agents were nothing spectacular, our biggest need was starting pitchers and those that were available were definitely overvalued and wouldn't improve our team significantly

I'm sure will we spend more next free agency when some contracts expire
