My thoughts exactly. He hasn't been able to bring anyone to Seattle. He has been lucky with some prospects I'll give him that.

What? Which prospects did he get lucky with? Smoak? Montero? He is making the smart moves. They aren't working in his favor so far. You can't blame a guy who is doing it right and it's not working out like it should.

He is obviously a terrible salesman. Cant convince anyone to sign here...travel, pitcher's ballpark, not contenders. If they were the smart moves...wouldn't they work out...his job isn't to roll the dice and hope they come out to what you need.

I am not sure if you are being serious right now...
Chone Figgins is a good example of how smart moves don't always work out.

How exactly was signing that old of a player to that long of a contract a smart move?
