On a serious note, I got to give kudos to AA for not dealing the 'key pieces' in our small window of winning the next year or two.
Some GMs probably would have pulled the emergency switch and dump everyone off but based on the low value everyone has right now, he did the right thing in my opinion.
I have always backed him up for all of the moves he has made during the offseason. The only one I didn't like was the Melky singing -- which has proven to be even worse than I had imagined...oh God he is almost as bad as JP Arencibia.

That small window to win is a really big if though and it starts with your starting pitching above all else. That would require R.A. Dickey and Josh Johnson pitching like they did just a year ago. Both of those guys went to Toronto and forgot how to pitch all of a sudden. Are they possibly hiding some undisclosed injuries?

You don't go from a sensational 2.73 ERA in 33 starts for Dickey and a solid 3.81 ERA in 31 starts for Johnson last year, to the horrendous numbers they have produced this year without a logical reason. It's nearly remarkable how they went from legitimate front-line starters -- an Ace and number two guy in my eyes -- to absolute filth this season. They shouldn't even be making a fraction of their current salaries based on their 2013 numbers.

If I were Dickey or Johnson, I'd hold a press conference to apologize to the Toronto fans for their poor performance this year.
And then I would offer to donate half of my paycheck this season to local hospitals and schools. Turn all of this into a positive.

I think .500 is pretty likely, they arent too far from it.
Would be awesome if they asked Thole to pitch the bottom of this inning for the luls
