I love baseball too much to not be excited to watch them play the next day, although it's not as much fun when I know in my mind that this team is basically done for the year

Only thing keeping me going is that our farm system is close to being the best in all of baseball. I'm selfishly hoping for the first overall pick in the draft for a third straight year. But deep down it pains me that the team is struggling so much at the Major League level. All of their minor league teams have a winning record.

what sucks is we gave half our future for the team we have now, which isnt doing better than last years team

Blue Jays and Angels have to be the most disappointing teams in 2013. Based on talent, they were both stacked entering the season.

Athletics haven't been fielding the ball that well lately. They made a couple of costly errors and lost 5-4 to the Astros in the last series.
They also sneaked out a couple of 4-3 wins in that series. They went 2-1 against the Astros, could have been swept if we could hit.

I would argue that Toronto has one of the better lineups, if not the best lineup in all of baseball. They leave too many runners on base though.

100% agree. So many games with the base loaded and no run that is upsetting

everyone on the team is selfish and trying to do too much. instead of trying to move runners up they try to drive them in and end up recording an unproductive out the majority of the team... so tired of lead off doubles not moving from second. i wish joe madden could coach the jays, he knows how to manage
