I remember a co-worker told me the Jays were World Series favorites before the season started lol...

I'll admit, I thought they had a chance to make noise in their division looking at their roster but somehow it just isn't clicking I guess.

They were the favourites.

That's dumb.

My biggest issue with them was/is their division, which is easily the best in baseball. I felt like the Cardinals should have been the pre-season favorites, myself.

They were the favorites in the NL.
Vegas, and even baseball analysts had Jays.
If everyone had played to what was expected of them, it would not have been like this.

Like always, its easy to get the bottom dwellers right, but hard to get the top seeds right, shit happens.

Top 3 faves, two of which have lucked out of a playoff race already.

Toronto Blue Jays -- 15/2
Los Angeles Angels -- 17/2
Los Angeles Dodgers -- 17/2

Bottom feeders:

Miami Marlins -- 100/1
San Diego Padres -- 100/1
Houston Astros -- 200/1

Vegas is right about the Dodgers. They are the hottest team in NL.

Bedard has had a really solid career. Never really looked him up until now but he is a solid pitcher. I can see why Astros nabbed him, they knew he would pitch a lot better than he did last year making him trade bait for 2013.

Stadium looks empty in Toronto. LOL, nobody wants to see two of the worst teams in the AL going at it.

Meh, still doesnt make him any less of an effective pitcher.
Good pickup by the Astros
