The Astros are so bad they're rubbing off on the Rangers' mentality.

Despite having the 4th worst record right now. They're too far back at 51-67. The Giants, Cubs and Phillies aren't far back of them with 65 losses. Rockies and Padres have 64 losses. Twins, Angels, Blue Jays and Mariners all have 63 losses. It's possible that the Brewers may not even pick in the top 10.

Astros are already losing 2-0 against Yu Darvish. We should be 37-80 in less than two hours, with only 45 games left. The White Sox host the Tigers and the Marlins are at Kansas City later tonight. Hopefully both of them win.

The Astros have a three-game road series coming up with the White Sox on August 26, 27 and 28. That should be fun.

The Astros have lost 6 games in a row and they play at Oakland late tonight (9:05 Houston start time). So I have to stay up until midnight just to see them lose again: Jordan Lyles (4-6, 5.40 ERA) versus the amazing 40-year-old ageless wonder, Bartolo Colon (14-4, 2.75 ERA).

Whether it's Yu Darvish, Felix Hernandez or Bartolo Colon, it seems like we've been facing all of the best AL pitchers a lot this season.
