Lester should get either 4 years $120M or 7 years $175M

Seriously... if Kershaw makes $30M a year over 7 years... Lester should make $25M over 7 years if he's to get that kind of length. If they Red Sox want to sign him on a shorter deal. 4 years $120M would be $30M over only 4 years. That puts him a tier below Kershaw but right where he belongs.

Anyone who thinks this is overpay is foolish, it's the market. It is what it is.

lester belongs more than a tier below kershaw. if thats the market, youre getting fucked.

the reason why thats the market is because players keep getting overpaid. hes worth 18-22mil/yr, no more. sorry but thats the truth.
