Jeter looked like absolute shit again.  He got nothing but fastballs all day and still looked completely lost.

Anyways,

Jesus: 2-5
Warren(AAA debut): 4.2 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 5 BB, 1 K.  Pretty meh debut.
Dealin' Dellin: 4.2 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 1 K.  Only 1 K?!?!?!
Jose Ramirez(big time sleeper): 4 IP, 2 H, 4 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 4-3 GB/FB
Heathgodd: 3 for 4, 1 R, 2 2B, 1 RBI.  w00t!!!
Gary Sanchez: 1 for 4, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 K

Whole offense looked like shit today...

But yeah, Jeter spending time on the ground as usual I see.

Apparently Rothschild spotted a mechanical issue with Hughes that may have been the cause of his missing velocity.
Quote
Hughes: “I was more aggressive driving toward the plate. Hopefully I will get better arm strength as well.”

Hopefully this fixes the issues he has been having but I'm not holding my breath since his secondary pitches have looked like shit too.

Jesus follows up 3 hits yesterday with 3 more today. Off to a hot start to the season for a change, although he is repeating the level. 2011 has been the opposite of 2010 for Brandon Laird who is off to an extremely slow start after blowing out of the gates last year. AAA pitching hasn't been kind to him.

Ramon Flores continuing where he left off last year and then some. He has a very advanced approach at the plate(11.6 BB% over 3 levels last year) and is very versatile on the field.
Since his debut, he has played all over the place: 1B, 3B, LF, RF and even saw some time at SS and CF in the past. His future position is probably RF though because of his cannon arm.
With his 4-6 showing today, which included a double and a homerun, he is up to .400/.483/.560 on the season and looks primed to have a huge year.
He might end up shooting up prospects charts this year as a potential Mark DeRosa type. He has already developed into a personal fave of mine since last year.

Slade went 2-6 but struck out 4 times, which was a problem for him last year.
JR Murphy with his 2nd 3-hit day in 3 games.

The Charleston lineup is stacked from top to bottom and has been really fun to follow.

From the upper levels:
Jesus: 1-4
Laird: 1-4
Phelps: 5.2 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 5 K. Meh.

Yea I get the stats from there but just weed out the non-prospects since the casual fans on here don't care to follow them.

Feliciano apparently has a torn shoulder capsule. Probably will need surgery... so it goes.
