This is how baseball goes. Hottest team wins, doesn't matter who's better on paper. Just hottest. Dodgers facing elimination in the same fashion against a hot team.

There's a difference between a team that knows how to play in the playoffs and one that knows how to play in the regular season. The Phillies and braves fall into the latter

Then they ended up with the second best record in MLB. 🤷‍♂️

In hindsight, we should have packed it up after the first series. Same exact result as not making the playoffs.

They made terrible off-season and in season trades and acquisitions.

Say what? On paper this is the best team they've had. The starting rotation is great with 3x All-Stars, and that's not even counting Suarez lol. The bullpen, on paper, is also much deeper than last year with multiple all-stars as well. They also added Estevez from LA mid-season.

Their bats are ice cold though and the bullpen has been getting mashed by the mets.
