It was reported by Jayson Stark that his game lineups were made by the FO before games.
The team was really injured but it didn't seem like he was helping us win any games.

I just think the La Russa style of micro managing every situation just rubs folks the wrong way. Especially when a team doesn't meat expectations.
Those other years were rebuild year. the front office has been total garbage at scouting and what not, but you can't sign a guy for 330mil and then proceed to improve by 1 win with yet another late season collapse.
