But I've never seen this as being trying to be offensive to their culture. I am not Native American though so my view slanted to this just being a normal part of the Braves tradition.

No I get it. The braves didn't have to do anything here if they didn't want to and no one would have given them shit. The fact that they did is pretty cool.

They have been doing the iChop so they have in a way been reducing the amount of Tomahawk chopping if you wanna call it that. But the iChop only works when it's dark out so it's useless during a day game.

iChop - They turn off the lights and fans use the flashlights on their phones and do the chop during an opponent pitching change during a rally.

I just think people like to whine, everyone complains about every small thing right now. People want the Redskins name changed, the Indians got rid of Chief Wahoo last year, pretty soon Somali Pirates are going to get offended lol. But then again I'm not Native American so it really isn't my place to have an opinion on how they interpret it.
