Based on what Ken Rosenthal is saying, Bumgarner chose those teams specifically to give himself more leverage.
First, having those teams on his no-trade list doesn't mean that he can't be traded there. If the Giants reach an agreement with one of those teams, Bumgarner can approve the deal. However, since it would be with a team on his no-trade list, Bumgarner would ask for some form of compensation before approving of the deal.
Second, Bumgarner has something to gain from getting dealt. Per Ken Rosenthal: "Any potential free agent traded in middle of season is ineligible for qualifying offer and exempt from draft-pick comp. List, however, gives him measure of control - if, say, he prefers #Braves to #Phillies."
So, at first glance, it might seem that Bumgarner is trying to avoid those teams. While that may be true for some of them I think it's more likely that he's listing the teams that he's more probable to land on, so that he can have more leverage when negotiating compensation, or so that he could theoretically decide on his destination if it's between one, two, or a few teams on the list and the Giants were happy with the offers from said teams.
