padres lineup looks top 10. but their pitching is bottom 10. looks like a sub .500 team. making this signing mediocre at best.

Pretty sure it is. No way Machado would sign a 10 year deal with fucking Padres without an opt out he himself controls.

He's going to be the next Cano. Took the money over winning and competing for championships. He'll be crying in 3 years about wanting to play elsewhere. Enjoy playing for a team that was just 30 games under .500. Thought Machado wanted to play winning baseball after being on the Orioles but i guess money is more valuable then championships.

they just need to add pitching. look at their lineup, its good now.
