My beef wasn’t for you not getting a player but White Sox missing both.

But clearly that last 30mil was the kicker to finish it since the Giants had him in again yesterday for a second meeting.

Still a weird contract. Not sure if he made the right choice on the money/years

Also didn’t expect Padres to be big players like that.
