His replacement, Corey Dickerson, is batting .318 with a double the WAR Cutch has. Cutch is batting around .230. Dickerson is also eating up less than half the salary Cutch is for the Giants.
Kyle Crick who was acquired in the trade has an ERA of like 2.18 with a k/9 of 12.
Bryan Reynolds who was the other player acquired is a career .300+ hitter in the minors and a solid OF prospect who adds more depth to the farm which is huge for small market teams.
Cutch is my favorite athlete of all time but this team is better than last years and that trade helped more than it hurt.
