I'd have shit my pants twice if he traded Lewis away.

We're going to be a carbon copy of the wasteland that Dipoto made the Angels, with "the corpse of" Cano instead of Pujols, and anything entertaining riding on Lewis instead of Trout.

You act like he hasn't done anytthing positive to this ball club

I admit I'm extremely pessimistic about the team, frustration year after year will do that.

The only person I'm actually glad he acquired is Segura, but I really think Walker and Marte are going to be studs in not too long.
I think Miranda only looks acceptable because our rotation is poopy after Pax. I think Haniger looked a lot better before he got injured than he really is... I'll be satisfied with him if he can manage a .700OPS, which I'm not sure of. I think Gamel is a naturally high BABIP player and our best bet at developing into a force, but high BABIP is all he is at the plate right now, so I'm concerned about him being able to sustain his quality.

Heredia is meh. Felix makes me sad. Kuma was a mistake. Smyly, fuck.

Erasmo I am actually happy to have back, which is also sad as fuck.

And I'm over Seager. It seems that every year he hits like shit until we're a longshot from making the playoffs, and THEN he gets around to hitting.

I hope we retain Valencia because apparently we're unable to develop a 1B. Sure would be nice to have Blackburn in the rotation, though.

It's just not a team I'm willing to pay $15 per beer for and I don't see our future going any better unless Felix becomes a cyborg and throws 200 mph.

And adding Gray or Darvish still would not have put them in the same universe as the 8 good teams, in my opinion.

I agree with you to some extent.
Our rotation you cant really put that on Dipoto besides the fact he isn;t really pursuing another ace (both in the offseason and now at the trade deadline), but to be fair he doesn;t have much farm to work with from the beginning.

Seager is pretty frustrating to me as well and I believe there are a ton of better options for a 3b...altough not many left handed hitting 3b.

Obviously Cruz and Cano are just getting older but they are also a reason why Segura is staying.

It really isnt fair the now superteams like LA, Boston, Nationals etc. I dont even think we are better than the Yankees at this point (it showed during our series). But some of that has to do with rotation health.

Our bullpen seems solid now with Shitchek gone and addition of Rzsempski (SPELLING?) and now Phelps, and Diaz back to being Diaz.
I believe we are set for a close wildcard race if we can stay healthy from here on out

How is LA a superteam, exactly? They're winning with their own guys and being led by a rookie, currently.

Team is succeeding because of Justin Turner, Taylor, Alex Wood, their bullpen, etc., not exactly huge names acquired as free agents. Their most notable addition prior to Darvish has been Forsythe I believe and he's been mediocre as fuck.

Superteam doesnt necessarily mean they do it all by spending money lol at least that's not how I meant it

On that note I should have included Houston as well. But I think Astros are falling off...especially with all of the injury problems they are having

Oh, you mean they are an elite team. Can't argue that, those teams you listed are all pretty solid.

they're still what, 9-8 since the all star break and that's with 4 all stars (2 of which are MVP caliber this year and 1 was on pace for an easy Cy Young) injured so i wouldn't get too excited for that one lol
