Ive been casually keeping up with the playoffs because i still enjoy it, but i would say most casual fans dont really care to watch a majority of the games if their team isnt in it

Maybe this has to do with the Mets being one of the most boring teams in baseball history.

Whoever pays the most $; is the only one allowed to air baseball games.. its just like football CBS has AFC games, Fox has NFC games.

To each their own. Only basketball I watch is March Madness; the NBA is a joke and isn't even basketball. Baseball has always had higher ratings then the NBA.

Football is regressing as well and you can pretty much hand pick the winners each week; where as, baseball anything can happen any given day.

I haven't missed a postseason game from any team in about 10 years unless having to go into work a random night when I have to run testing.
