Great catch. But not the best catch this year

Gotta admit, that was pretty sick. It meets most of the criteria for being awesome:

1) it actually was going to be a HR (unlike a lot of these, which merely rob a double)
2) he actually had to jump to catch it (a lot of guys jump when they don't really have to, which makes it artificially more complicated)
3) the timing was perfect; he was maxed-out on speed and couldn't have gotten there any sooner even if he wanted to
4) the wall is actually pretty high, unlike a lot of these parks with waist-high walls that aren't actually difficult to rob
5) he didn't completely kill himself on the jump; he was actually pretty graceful in catching it, knowing where the wall is, and timing his jump perfectly

only thing it's seemingly lacking is the circumstantial game-deciding factor

/e: also how can you guys say benintendi's catch was better? wasnt even 1/10th as good as this one AND benintendi's was only over like a 4 foot fence

not to mention benintendi was jogging to the ball

Thats a great catch and all, but i honestly think dysons catch was overall tougher.

Trout had time to get to the wall and make a flat standing jump.

Still a hell of a catch, not not the best.

Looks like a routine catch to me.

edit/ nice judging of how far the wall was I guess. But other than that, meh.
