It feels good to finally beat the Texas Rangers. Also scoring 5 runs in the game.
The Astros had only scored 7 total runs in the previous 6 games combined!

Not to mention Dallas Keuchel had his best start of the year: A three-hit, complete game shutout.



If Doug Fister can out-shine Lucas Harrell tonight, I would love to see a sweep in person on Sunday with Joe Musgrove on the mound making his first big league start. I may even take a little broom if that happens. With a sign that says, "Come get some, Yu Darvish!"

That would be unreal if the Astros could find themselves within 3.5 games out of first place after Sunday's game.
We've been losing a ton of games lately but all of a sudden a series like this could be a huge turnaround.

Every time it looks like the 2016 Houston Astros season is over... I mean really over...
The Texas Rangers don't want to seize control of the AL West. So there's some hope yet.

"Dear Yu Darvish, please bring it better on our next series matchup. You were lacking effective location on your fastball, and it made the game easy for even our up and comers to tag you for X amount of runs..
Additionally, you should try mixing your off speed pitches in more if your fastball is not consistently effective. Thank you for reading my sign, I hope you have a great career"

I usually don't take signs but a series like this is pretty big. I hope they sweep the Rangers (Payback!).
We could enter next week right back in the AL West mix. With six games still left against the Rangers.
