J.Up Being this bade - not surprising, he's had really bad stretches in the past
Papi being this good in his final year - not surprising, he has never really declined all that much really...
Phillies not being garbage - this is very surprising.
Twins being this horrible - didn't think they'd win 80 games, wouldn't be shocked if they win 65
Angels playing with DL mode on after i bashed the rangers for playing with it on for the last 2 years. (Iron Knee) - meh, it's the angels who cares.
Weaver not having an ERA north of 15 despite throwing below the legal speed limit - yeah, surprising actually. but good location can accommodate speed #bartolo

I think it's surprising that literally every red sox young hitting prospect blossomed at the same time. JBJ, Mookie, Shaw, Boegarts are all stellar.

As a Phillies fan they are still pretty garbage...especially their offense. Clearly over the last week or so when vsing better teams they are getting their ass kicked.

The pitching has been a great surprise but I can't see it continuing...regardless nice to see them still in it somewhat this late in the season for what that is worth.

Like I said before, if they finish the season anywhere near .500 it's a success. If they reach .500 on the season (after 162 games) that's a great year for a rebuilding team that wasn't expected to be shit.

The offense will be improved though, especially once our young guns get called up later this year and into next season.

A lot of holes to fill we shall see

Hopefully that catching Prospect Alfaro keeps tearing it up and becomes a 20+ HR catcher

Maybe use Knapp as a future 1B? Or Joseph? Regardless don't have that power threat like Howard back in the day.

Crawford will be a good player but I don't project him being better than Rollins for example. Not really fair because he seems like a different type of player. But an ON BASE machine still would be an added bonus on this team.

Franco really needs to step up his game and we need to probably pray that Harper makes it to free agency and chooses the phillies lol

Most of these... Also surprised to see all the Royals rookies/backups step up and do great when the stars are struggling, specifically Eibner (.455), Orlando (.382), and Merrifield (.350).

Also surprised to see Salvador Perez hit a triple (especially as part of a 5/5 game).
