Gotta step in here. Cain was dominant until injuries took him

Cole Hamels have had one shit year from the World Series hangover and everybody on jsp wrote him off. I would pull up jered weaver quotes but the Angels are sad enough as they are so ill let flc off lmao

Yeah hamels was unfairly maligned but that was because of how you and others acted, not about the pitcher at all

yea this is probably true. those of us who even mightve thought hamels > cain would side with cain, strictly due to how annoying some of the phils fans were.

lmfao wait wut

How is the Cole Hamels quote something to laugh at? Everyone wrote him off (after a ridiculously unlucky season statistically), while me and a few others defended him and what happened? He returned to elite form as one of the best in the business as he has been one of the most consistent, durable, and reliable workhorse aces in the game...

Let me the FUCK know Benny. :bonk:

Did you see Cain's last outing? Nigga went 7 strong, painting the black and with good movement... I think it's safe to say the real Cain is back...

wat

Comparing Hamels, who had 1 poor season to his standards (and has been outstanding otherwise).....to Matt Cain who hasn't posted a sub 4 ERA since 2012? Cain isn't relevant anymore, while Hamels is well...Hamels .

Hamels has been a machine for the last 10 years. Outside of the fluke 2009 season where he posted a 4.32 ERA (more than a full run above his career average) he has been the definition of a top notch #1 workhorse ace....durable as fuck, and consistent season after season.

Bruh, but why the original post even include that?

The others were good, but the Hamels one made no sense.
