When I played travel ball as a 13 year old, I was clocked at 83mph during one of my bullpen sessions

I didnt believe it when my coach told me but he showed me the gun. I was usually throwing around 79 consistently but 83 at that age was a nice stroke of the normal-kid ego

Lmao you're full of shit.
Mo'ne Davis was JUST touching 70 at 13 and she's fucking famous for it.

If you threw 79 consistently at age 13, you would have been on the team USA little League team or some shit.

Was on the #1 ranked travel team for our age group in our division. we were in the 2nd best division for that age group. 1st division had teams like starmaker

and i was in the 8th grade. went to headfirst academy (baseball academy), i think jason castro went there as well.

also, the people on the little league world series teams arent necessarily the best players. you gotta win the TOCs and all that crap and have a goodteam in general. and i wouldnt have been eligible anyway because i was an old 13 probably closer to 14, thats why i was playing travel and not little league.

/e: had a stress fracture in my arm though and also the growth plate around my elbow was detaching because of my arm slot (i dont throw over the top) and throwing curves at too young of an age. to this day i cant throw very many balls without getting some pain
