Why don't they just buy everything they need. I've wondered this myself.

If I was the GM of the Red Sox, Angels, Dodgers, Yankees etc I would just buy the best players every year. I don't understand why they haven't thought of this.

the dodgers do do that every year. and they still cant get past the NLCS.
so maybe thats why... or maybe its the millions of dollars in tax they pay for these players.

coming from the team that signed CJ wilson and josh hamilton to ridiculously overpriced deals, and will be paying pujols until hes 41.


then paid hamilton to not only not play for the angels anymore, but instead play for the team that won the division and knocked em out of the playoffs on the last day.
