Cubs will be fine with pitching next year. I have a hard time believing Price won't be a Cub next year. He's already said he'd love to go here.

Only thing that could use an upgrade is the bullpen. Wish they had traded for Kimbrel.

Went to a Pirates/Cubs game in Pittsburgh a week ago, it was a cool atmosphere. Pittsburgh fans are awesome, and I was pretty hammered and being obnoxious rooting for the Cubs (idk why, honestly IDK which team I'd want to play in the playoffs if it came down to it).

Whats the point of having okay to decent pitching, if you could get dominant young pitching to put next to your hitters?

Also I don't know... I mean the Cubs have a nice future, but I don't see Price going to the Cubs...

I would rather play the Pirates. The Cubs have had our number this season, but that was also when our team was really bad and slumping.

But we'll see in the playoffs. I would rather face the Pirates though.

I know the Cubs have had our number, but I still think we match up better against them then the Pirates. Any series would be interesting, both fanbases are HUNGRY for a victory.

He pitched for Joe Maddon and loved it. He's already said he wanted to go a team that wants to have fun.. and the Cubs are young kids who are doing just that.

okay to decent pitching? If Price does sign,

Price, Arrieta, Lester, Hammel, Hendricks is a much better than "decent" pitching.

Considering the Cubs are 4th in baseball in pitching and even better in starters ERA.. I think it'd be just fine to add Price.

Still don't think Price is going to the Cubs. But we'll see. But if he does, whoo! Cubs are going to be stacked.
