Is it free to play? I might go there by myself for some relief.
I just went to the park today and threw the frisbee too, I got one from Dicks, it's pretty good imo

Usually they are, as far as I know anyways.
I took my girlfriend to one and we just used the normal frisbees. They work but are more challenging.

You should never have to pay to play disc golf unless it's a tournament. And you can grab a used driver and putter from any Play-It-Again or similar type of sports shops. Discs run $10-20 normally. Innova and Gateway are solid brands.

haha, bro the discs are just called drivers, mid-range and putters. they are shaped and sized differently. each disc is designed for a certain purpose, similar to clubs in golf.

basically your first shot you throw driver. then you throw mid-range unless you're within range of the chains, in which you'd putt. putters are easier to throw short distances. they typically go straighter, etc. stuff like that.

/e my roommates are discheads, upwards of 30+ discs each

I've played 63 holes this week. I play a ton. Use an innova valkerie driver mostly.

I'm getting much better this year. We've got a top 10 course near me

I have that same driver in red, Although I prefer my wraith or ogre over it.

My 2 faggot friends bailed on me last minute, so I just went to a local free 9 hole course quick instead. Lame as fuck.

Most courses are free. Some of the higher end ones (like Mont du Lac) charge a fee of between 5-10 bucks for a day. Great semi casual sport that lets you enjoy being outside. I love being outside, so I fell in love with the sport right away.
