For anyone who hasn't seen the original

This is the original Jomboy media video with the Epic Aaron Boone rant which spawned the current yankees saying "Savages in the Box"

I honestly think the rookie umpire handled it well. You can't expect to be a rookie umpire and not take flak like this, I commend the ump for kicking Boone, had to, lost control at that point.

Yankees did end up getting a few strike calls after that haha

thoughts?

Even though the guy is a Yankees fan, I have to give him props. He's a funny guy.

Its honestly part of the game, like fighting in hockey, or the yellow flag in football.

its what makes it unique

No other sport really its this common for the coach to argue like this all the time with the officiators, unless Im wrong

i think it happens in nfl and nba aswell. all sports really its just part of the game.

But baseball is just not arguing all the time. If the ump is consistent in ball/strike calls then there is really nothing to argue. Players managers might not agree with the call and say something, but if its consistent calls for both sides there wont be an ejection like this.

Manager was upset because in the video u can see the yankee pitcher didn't get any of those calls at the bottom of the zone, pretty close pitches. And then he called some bad strikes on judge and dj. That one on judge was probably lower in the zone than the balls called on yankee pitcher.

It was just inconsistency from the ump that led to this. It was probably amplified by the fact they were in a double header in the rain, rookie ump.

It's expected in baseball. If a manager doesn't storm onto the field and scream in the umps face he'll get shit from the fans and the team, it's his way of showing he "has their back" and then the ejection is the ultimate sacrifice.

When the manager throws a haymaker and knocks the ump out, that's how I know he's about that life. Until then it's all show.
