I like these deals personally.

I love the trout deal. Considering they already owed him like 66+ mill for the next 2 years, it was 10/360 for 10 more years added on. Guys gonna just wreck mlb for the next 6 years of it. Totally worth it imo, even if he does fall off for the last few years. Hes going into the HOF as an angel.

The bregman deal has me perplexed. Like yea he was a stud last season, and has only played 2 full seasons and is young, but the astros are gonna have a lot of talent to re-sign in the next few years, i dunno if bregman would have been the one to keep over others. But im sure they know what they were doing and wanted to lock him up til hes 30.

The jimenez re-sign was a steal for the wsox

The lowe signing i dunno. Could be a steal, could be wasted money. Hes a year younger than bregman with almost no big league playing time. That one will have to wait and see, and although not a lot of money was invested, the rays are a low budget team so that might hinder them if it doesnt work out.

Bregman is 5 years $100 million, not 6 years.

I mean, the kid hasn't even played a single major league game yet. Idk how we can call it a steal (yet). Yes, he's a stud but the only other two players in MLB history that signed long term contracts before even playing a single game haven't exactly worked out yet (though yes Jiminez is a bigger prospect than both for sure).
