Got a question yesterday regarding which of the listed picks can be included in a parlay
short answer: if the bookie site (bet365) allows it, then it's accepted
Parlay payouts are based on the joint probability of independent events
The joint probability is a product of the probabilities of the individual independent events
Simply multiply the individual probabilities
For betting purposes, the individual probabilities are represented by the odds line of each pick
Since american odds format is used in the screenshot, to get the parlay odds, first, convert them to decimal odds, and then multiply them.
or use the link provided for convenience (in profile)
Now, to check if your parlay picks are considered independent events, and can be included in a parlay, you can either
1. use the definition of Independence to see if Probability of pickA given pickB = Probability of pickA (or if Probability of pickB given pickA = Probability of pickB )
2. use the multiplication rule for Independence and see if Probability of pickA and pickB = Probability of pickA * Probability of pickB
Based on all of this,
same game ml And rl can not be present in a parlay
ml or rl And over/under is OK
