Can't blame Showalter on the offense not putting runs on the board. Sure Britton may have given them another 3 outs. But they didn't score since the 4th inning, wouldn't expect them to wake up suddenly
Regardless; he should have been out there for 2 innings and if you don't score then you move on to the next pitcher but to let a guy who had a .47 era the entire season NOT pitch at all; sorry but that's the stupidest thing I've ever seen by a manager.
