Now that he's called back up, anyone have any idea what the Astros plan to do with him? Is he going to play everyday and just catch occasionally, or is he going to be a standard backup catcher who plays every 3rd ish day?

How many games will he play a week? My catcher situation isn't great, cervelli, and there's nothing out there any better.

I know gattis won't have eligiblity right away, but if hes playing 5+days a week he's probably worth a pickup.

He will play every day, I'm sure. But it could take him a month+ to gain catcher eligibility. Worth stashing probably, depending on league settings.
