true. 42 hr but gotta have truly outstanding offensive numbers as a rockie to get real recognition

I just don't see it in a league with Giancarlo and Harper and others. I wouldn't be surprised if Harper won the next 4 straight.

As you said; it's nearly impossible for a Rockie to get it unless he puts up Larry Walker type numbers (.370/700+ slg%)


Helton couldn't even win it in his .370 year

Arenado hit 22 HRs away from Coors last year compared to 20 HRs there.

.539 slugging away
.610 at home.

Biggest difference was his batting average at home.

I'm well aware and that's still a big difference.

It's a lot easier to hit at Coors because offspeed pitches don't break nearly as much with the altitude.
