My kid is staying at home or going to school for 13M

He will far enjoy that 13M over his lifetime than this 1 year with his dad.

i feel like there are details we dont know about.

i cant imagine he would retire and give up 13mil dollars because the organization asked him to stop bringing his kid to work every single day, but instead only half the time.

there has to be something else.

not to mention, its probably better for him to hang out with kids his own age than a bunch of millionaire adults.

Maybe if he didn't bat .220 last year they wouldn't give a shit.

It makes no sense like Genetics said, They gave the kid his own locker FFS, What did the white sox expect?

Really a strange situation - and to hear that the white sox players were going to boycott yesterdays game in favor of LaRoche would tell me the kid wasn't a problem in the clubhouse.

they wouldnt make him the batboy. theres plenty of players kids in other clubhouses, even some in the dugouts.
i think laroche has always been a stand up guy and a very good teammate, i would stand by any decision he did.
they clearly rubbed him the wrong way and made a bad impression on him.

proof?

It would make no sense for White Sox to call out Laroche if every team does it

I thought it was strange to begin with that he requests his son there

Apparently he made over $70million so the 13 probably doesn't effect him as much as it would all of us obviously. If he is already set for life then you can kind of do what you want...but I agree that he is being selfish towards his teammates if this indeed the case he quit.
Again rich people do what they want.

Bro, when you're rich, you don't spend like you make 50k a year lmao.

13 million is over 15% of his ENTIRE CAREER EARNINGS in ONE year. He's stupid for walking away from it. Whatever the reason.
