Jist started to golf. Looking to buy a set of clubs. My buddy has two very nice set of clubs for sale cheap. Was wondering what would be my better deal?

First set $150: This is a very nice set of clubs from MG, Master Grip, and has a full set of irons, 3-sw, plus 3-4-5 hybrids, a 460cc square driver, a 13 degree strong 3 wood, and a putter in a nice bag. Also has a 52 degree gap wedge and club glove head covers on the iron sets.

Second set $125: Set includes PowerBilt TPS6 irons, 3-pw, MG 460cc driver, 3-5-7 woods, and center shafted putter in a Bag Boy bag. All clubs are in very good condition and have head covers included.

For beginners - clubs don't matter

Don't spend lots of money on an already frustrating sport only to let the waste away if you put the game down (due to the stress of the game)

Pick something up that is affordable and works well

Either way both sets are a good value so pick what feels good in your hands
