Would like to know a little more about them.

What is a decently priced gun? I'd like to buy two of them for me and my brother to go paintballing. Price range probably around 50-100 dollars per or combined.

I may even just search on craigslist. I am unsure if that's a wise decision or not. Can there be many problems you can run across with used guns?

Thanks in advance!

Which type of guns should I be searching for? I've looked on amazon and saw some pretty sweet packs for around 200. M4/m16 replicas made by the us army. Was possibly thinking of saving up and buying one of those. Any ideas or comments?

Well, first and foremost are you looking to play in the woods with milsim guns, or speedball with a speedball marker? There is a big difference. I don't know shit about milsim guns because I played speedball.

If speedball, increase your budget to 120-150 and find an 09ish proto matrix rail.

If you can get around 250-300 your options really open up as far as axes, ethas, eteks, minis, reflex rails, or even older egos and dms (high end guns)

If you really only have 50-100 your choices will be extremely low end and limited

Probably more towards forest. Lots of wooded areas around me. Can you tell me the differences?

This is all my opinion ofc, others will think the complete opposite I'm sure.

Woodsball is more slow paced, about hiding and trying to flank people, usually barely any action (relative to what I'm used to)

Speedball (also called airball) is much more fast paced, adrenaline filled, 13+ balls per second nonstop action where people basically know where you are at all times, it's up to you to outshoot and outsmart them.

Here's just a random (one of many) vids on youtube to give you an idea

Here are a few options I found. They are above my price range but come with about everything I need to start with as a beginner. Any opinions or comments? I'll look up the ones you recommended tonight.

If you're ONLY planning on woodsball and are playing on a budget, I would recommend a used tippman 98 w/ flatline barrel
It's affordable and is way more accurate than the ones you posted
Paintball is an expensive sport
I only spent money on markers when I became committed to the sport
Paint is where most of your money goes
The more you go the more you realize you need to shoot more so you'll want to buy more paint than u started
If you're barely starting and that's you're budget that you posted, i recommend spending the money to play more and get more familiar with the game/strategy using field rental gear and then when you have a higher budget and are more committed you can spend money on a marker/set up
Only thing I would tell you to buy as of now is a harness for pods and then the pods

I had some really cheap guns when I was younger and enjoyed them. They were like 30 bucks each. Lol. Only held a tiny disposable co2 cartilage. They were fun and fine with me at the time. I'm not looking to get serious with them. Just something I can take out to the woods with a few people and have some fun. Too old to seriously get into it or try to compete. Lol.

So I gave myself a small budget to just occasionally go out on weekends or something.

Buy a tippman. Anything below that it's not worth it.
