hunting is not a "sport". the animals have no choice if they want to participate or not and they have no chance of winning. hunting is just a hobby, and a cruel one if the hunter's not good.

Well, guys like me and Raley hunt to put meat on the table.
We don't hunt for antlers, those are just a plus.
I'd post my two but one has no skin and the other has half legs.

Both small bucks.
One is missing an antler- probably from one of those "unskilled hunters" you spoke of.

I value your opinion but I don't look at it so much as a sport as I do a way to feed people.
I keep two and the rest I donate.

I got 8 or 9 last year and processed them all fully into burger except the straps and donated it to a food pantry.
I like to help.

Tell the children who were eating my kills last year it's not fair and they'll laugh.

It's good for everyone except the animal.
The animal doesn't usually feel pain when I shoot it I would say 89% fall dead instantly.

The other 11% bleed out within minutes.
