I think you guys need to address this topic. What are sports becoming? With the resent fallouts of so many famed athletes, it's easy to see how sports are being effected by Performance Enhancing Drugs. Back in the era of the Babe and Mantle, sports were played because your heart was in the game. Now sports are played by so many because their heart is in the paycheck. The aspect of earning titles in sports is simply disappearing.

This. I don't know why the public expect athletes to behave any differently than other people. THIS IS THERE JOB! You would not expect anyone else to turn down a job that paid them more money simply to stay with their first company. I just dont get why people believe that these people should do it for "their city" or something similar rather than themselves.
