I picked up an bamboo Arbor board a couple months back and its great. $200ish but well worth it. I ride it around campus all the time. Fun and efficient way to go to class (although biking is way faster and easier to manage with larger crowds with the brakes and all)

It was a great beggining board for me cause I rode different type of longboards with my cousin and pintail suited well
IMO good board but definitly way more better boards out there

This is my board. My wheels are off white instead of blue though.

That happens too. I havent had any falls yet but ive have a few close calls. I typically recover from mistakes well. Took a hard turn over a bumpy surface once, board came right out from under me and I was running before I knew what happened.

My friend isnt so lucky... Ive seen him fall several times. Once into a bush. He was following me and I turned right and he started to and went right off the sidewalk into the bushes. I preceded to laugh.

i laugh at ppl that long board cause its the "hip" thing to do and fall on their face, yeah i know it does get yah around fairly quick when u live in a city/on campus.
soo much fun to hang 10 down the street n rip around the park on them
still think a normal board is better

E: i hope you guys bomb the occasional hill, still havent done that on a longboard myself, done it on a regular one plenty of times soooo much fun

I find long boarding a whole lot more fun than a normal board. The feel is completely different, much like snowboarding. Half the time I end up walking around campus carrying my long board though. NN to be an ass and try and ride through crowds of people.
