I was thinking about getting into paintball and try out the Air Arena




Anyone got any tips about what gun/gear to use
or just tips period

helpful advice... you're going to need to have deep pockets to play speedball (the paintball you're talking about) It's roughly $500 or so for a good gun and yes the gun makes a massive difference... some canadian tire pos will get ur ass kicked... A box of paintballs at the field (2000) $100 or more and at most fields you can't bring your own balls. If you have the money for this then it's an awesome adrenaline rush very fun. Been playing a few years myself

yah money wont be an issue just gotta see if i can get a few of my friends to play
do u have any idea of what brand of gun is good for speedball?

I personally use a Proto Matrix Rail. It's about $350. It's light a quick. Most tournements cap you at 15 balls per second shooting speed so this guns fine. Personally if I could buy any gun it would be one of the dm guns by dye. Theyre about $1000 though. You'll want a speed reloader too. Halo reloader b is the best bet. Some people like the "eggy" but meh it's personal choice

i used to have a angel a-1 but sold it a couple years ago and now this summer i would like to get back into paintball

Yeah angels are overrated in my opinion. I prefer the dm's. Dangerous Power makes a solid gun too for about $600

Don't forget the Bob Long Intimidator's if they are still around! Been out of the paintball scene for about 6 years.

I never owned a Dye Matrix or Proto Matrix but I've had a couple Intimidators, a Shocker (made by Smart Parts), and an Angel A1 Fly.

Smart Parts and Intimidators were my favorite though.
